Comes a Time is a 1978 music album by Neil Young .

History of origin

The album documents Neil Young's return to folk rock and can be considered a comeback album. Its title was originally supposed to be Ode to the Wind , which also included individual copies that are now extremely valuable as rarities. The LP took almost two years to produce; it was created between November 28, 1975 and November 21, 1977 in a total of 6 recording studios , including the Nashville Sound Shop . It was only released on October 2, 1978, almost a year after the recording was finished.

The song Motorcycle Mama is said to have been written by Neil Young after seeing a woman fall off a bar stool in Fort Lauderdale . Four Strong Winds is a cover song written by Ian Tyson .
