The Archaeological Museum of Hyōgo Prefecture ( Japanese 兵 庫 県 立 考古 博物館 , Hyōgo Kenritsu Kōko Hakubutsukan , English Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Archeology ) in Harima , Hyōgo Prefecture , Japan , was founded in 2007 with the "Great Medieval Village of Harima" ( 播 磨 大中 古代の 村 ) and opened with a total area of ​​8367 m². The main task of the museum is to carry out excavations of archaeological cultural assets, to evaluate, store and research finds. In the immediate vicinity is the Innaka site. The museum has compiled a database of information on 25,000 sites in the prefecture, which can be downloaded from the website. It maintains a lively exchange of information with other museums and research institutions at home and abroad.

In addition to the database on the sites in the prefecture, the museum also provides an online database with more than 100,000 records on the archaeological materials in its collection. The museum also provides basic information on extraordinary finds in Korea and China. The online offer is supplemented by a literature list with publications by the archaeologists working in Hyōgo (status of the list from 2002). In addition to the extensive information on finds and places, the museum also provides information on a total of 20 other archaeological museums, collections and exhibitions in the prefecture.
