Arialis Josefa Gandulla Martínez (born June 22, 1995 ) is a Cuban sprinter .

Athletic career

For the first time at an international championship, Arialis Gandulla appeared at the 2013 Pan American Youth Games in Medellín , where she won the gold medal over 100 and 200 meters. In 2014 she finished sixth over 200 meters at the Junior World Championships in Eugene, and she just missed a medal in fourth at the Pan American Sports Festival. At the Central America and Caribbean Games in Xalapa , she was fifth over 100 meters and fourth over 200 meters and also won the bronze medal with the Cuban 4 x 100 meter relay.

In 2015, she participated in the Pan American Games in Toronto . In both individual disciplines she reached the semi-finals and with the Cuban relay she was disqualified in the final. A little later she retired from the NACAC Championships in San José over 200 meters in the preliminary round. Nevertheless, she qualified for the World Championships in Beijing , where she was eliminated in the preliminary round over 200 meters . In 2016 she won the silver medal over 200 meters at the U23 NACAC championships in San Salvador . At the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro , she was eliminated over 200 meters in the first round.

She has been Cuban champion nine times in total.
