Arizona Zervas (born April 9, 1995 in Hagerstown , Maryland ) is an American rapper. At the end of 2019 he had a worldwide hit with his song Roxanne .

biography

Arizona Zervas began writing his own songs while he was in high school. In 2016 he started posting them on the internet. Right from the start, he stood out with a track that he released during the half-time break of the Super Bowl and into which he incorporated the name of each team in the National Football League. The NFL final is the largest national sporting event in the United States. With his publications and also with live performances he managed to build up a trailer base. His songs had the same number of views without a major hit. An EP in summer 2018 didn't change that.

After a good three dozen songs, the success came with the song Roxanne in autumn 2019 . It went viral after being discovered on TikTok and made it to the international charts at the end of the year. In both the USA and Great Britain he made it to number 4, in New Zealand Zervas even had a number one hit . Roxanne achieved top 20 placements across Europe . He has also received a number of platinum awards. Columbia Records then signed him, but his next release 24 remained unplaced.
