Armgard Müller-Adams

Armgard Müller-Adams (* 1973 ) is a German journalist and editor-in-chief of Saarländischer Rundfunk .

Career

Müller-Adams studied linguistics and literature at Saarbrücken University and University College Cork . During her school days, Müller-Adams was involved as a student representative , and as a student she was temporarily chairwoman of the AStA at Saarbrücken University. From October 2000 to March 2002 she completed a traineeship at Saarländischer Rundfunk (SR); She then worked for ten years as a reporter for various SR editorial offices, including the editorial team for the Saarland editions of plusminus . Müller-Adam's films focused on macroeconomic , social and consumer protection issues. In addition, she also moderated the program “ ARD-Ratgeber Reise ” and, alternating with Michael Friemel, the travel program “… I want to go there” on SR television and on 3sat . She could be heard on the radio in the “MedienWelt” on SR 2 Kulturradio . Müller-Adams later became an advisor to SR director Thomas Kleist . In 2015, Kleist appointed her head of the SR directorship. Since October 2019, Müller-Adams has been responsible as editor-in-chief for the television, radio and internet offerings of Saarland Radio.

Müller-Adams was nominated for the 2010 Adolf Grimme Prize with the ARD television feature “The struggle of the little ones: the so-called others before the election” .
