Arnolz is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Pfaffenschlag near Waidhofen adThaya in the Waidhofen an der Thaya district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 41 building areas with 22,261 m² and 40 gardens on 27,924 m² in the cadastral municipality of Arnolz , in 1989/1990 there were 43 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 153 and in 2009/2010 there were 68 buildings on 157 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 198 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 53 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 180 hectares and 66 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 168 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 65 hectares. The average soil climate number of Arnolz is 25.5 (as of 2010).
