Rohrbach is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Pfaffenschlag near Waidhofen adThaya in the Waidhofen an der Thaya district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 34 building areas with 19,831 m² and 31 gardens on 18,385 m² in the cadastral community Rohrbach , in 1989/1990 there were 34 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 97 and in 2009/2010 there were 44 buildings on 88 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 254 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 185 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 252 hectares and 191 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 240 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 195 hectares. The average soil climate number of Rohrbach is 28.4 (as of 2010).
