Arthur March (born February 23, 1891 in Brixen , † April 17, 1957 in Bern ) was an Austrian physicist .

Arthur March studied mathematics and physics . In 1913 he received his doctorate with the thesis The change in the resistance of an electrolyte in a magnetic field . He then taught at a girls' high school in Innsbruck from 1914 to 1924 . After he completed his habilitation in 1917 and became adjunct professor, he became an associate professor at the University of Innsbruck in 1926 . In July 1929 he married Hildegunde March geb.
