Artyom Anatolyevich Besrodny

Artjom Anatoljewitsch Besrodny ( Russian Артём Анато́льевич Безро́дный ; * February 10, 1979 in Sumy ; † September 13, 2016 ibid), partly also known under the English transcription Artyom Bezrodny , was a Russian football player born in Ukraine .

Athletic career

Besrodny began his professional career at Spartak Moscow , where he was initially used mainly in the reserve team and only occasionally in the competition team competing in the Supreme Division . In the summer of 1997 he moved to Germany, where Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen secured his services. Here, however, the young player did not get beyond the reserve team playing in the third-class regional league , so that he was transferred to the second division KFC Uerdingen at the turn of the year . There he was also denied a professional assignment.

In the summer of 1998, Besrodny returned to Spartak Moscow. Here he became a national player, in September 1999 national coach Oleg Ivanovich Romanzew used him as a substitute for Dmitri Anatoljewitsch Alenitschew in the 2-1 away win of the Russian national team with goals by Viktor Savelyevich Onopko against Andorra as part of the qualification for the 2000 European Championship finals . This was his only international appearance . He was more successful at club level, where he won several titles with Spartak until 2004. Between 1998 and 2001 he was champion four times in a row, and in 2003 he also won the state cup . In 2005 he ended his career in Azerbaijan with FK Mil-Muğan .

In September 2016, Besrodny died at the age of 37 after having a heart attack while jogging .
