Arzjom Leschchanka (born December 13, 1989 in Navapolazk , Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic , Soviet Union ) is a Belarusian biathlete .

Arzjom Leschtschanka lives in Navapolatsk and is trained by Vasil Leschtschanka. In 1997 he started biathlon. He contested his first international races in 2006 in Ridnaun and Obertilliach as part of the junior competitions of the Biathlon European Cup . In Haute-Maurienne , the Belarusian took part in a major event for the first time in the junior competitions of the Summer Biathlon World Championships in 2008 . He started in cross-country competitions and finished eleventh in both the sprint and the pursuit. In the following year he also took part in these competitions in Oberhof and was sixth in the sprint of the cross competitions, but disqualified in the pursuit race. On rollerskiing came 21st place in the sprint and ninth place in the pursuit. The first major event on snow was the 2009 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Torsby . Leschchanka was used in all four races. In the individual, he finished 45th, in the sprint he was 33rd, in the pursuit 20th and with the Belarusian relay he came in sixth place. This was followed by participation in the junior competitions of the Biathlon European Championships 2010 in Otepää . Leschtschanka was tenth in the individual, 26th in the sprint and pursuit and fifth in the mixed relay. At the Summer Biathlon European Championships 2010 in Osrblie , he was initially used in the junior competitions and won the title in both the sprint and the pursuit. Due to the good performance he was appointed to the mixed relay race in the performance area and came there with Iryna Babezkaja , Wolha Nasarawa and Dzmitry Labetsik as the final runner of the relay fifth.
