Arturo de Jesús Correa Toro

Arturo de Jesús Correa Toro (born April 26, 1941 in Ituango , Antioquia ) is a Colombian clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Ipiales .

Life

Arturo de Jesús Correa Toro was ordained a priest on October 22, 1967 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Ipiales on January 29, 2000. He received his episcopal ordination on March 20th of the same year by the Bishop of Jericó , Augusto Aristizábal Ospina ; Co- consecrators were Gustavo Martínez Frías , Archbishop of Nueva Pamplona , and Alberto Giraldo Jaramillo PSS , Archbishop of Medellín .

On February 3, 2018, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
