The Roman Catholic Diocese of Ipiales ( lat. : Dioecesis Ipialensis , span. : Diócesis de Ipiales ) is an in Colombia situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Ipiales .
history
The diocese of Ipiales was on September 23, 1964 by Pope Paul VI. built with the papal bull Munus nostrum from cessions of territory of the diocese of Pasto . It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Popayán as a suffragan .
