Aszód is a central Hungarian city in Pest County . Aszód is about 40 km east of the Hungarian capital Budapest with a connection to the M3 (Budapest - Hatvan ).
history
Aszód was first mentioned in a document in 1401 .
Sándor Petőfi's parents , István Petrovics and Mária Hruz, married on September 18, 1818 in Aszód.
