Attorney-General (Namibia)
The Attorney-General (AG) in Namibia is a member of the cabinet . From 2005 to 2015 he was also Minister for Presidential Affairs . The incumbent is Festus Mbandeka on March 22, 2020 .
The tasks of the working group are based on Chapter 9, Article 86 and Article 87 of the Constitution of Namibia . He is the responsible head of the attorney general's office , first legal advisor to the government and the president, and guardian of the constitution.
