Audi BKK with around 700 employees and around 717,000 insured persons (both as of December 2019) has 29 branches at all production sites of the Volkswagen , Audi and MAN Truck & Bus brands as well as in Neuburg an der Donau , Singen (Hohentwiel) , Seelze , Helmstedt , Gifhorn , Neumarkt idOPf. , Augsburg , Ebern , Coburg , Nuremberg , Munich , Neunkirchen (Siegerland) and Eichstätt .
Gerhard Fuchs heads the Audi BKK, Dirk Lauenstein is a member of the Board of Management.
Contribution rates
Since January 1, 2009 the contribution rates have been standardized by the legislator. Up to December 31, 2014, the Audi BKK did not levy any additional insurance contribution that was independent of income . Unchanged since January 1, 2015, it charges an income-related additional contribution of 0.7 percent of the underlying income.

In 2010, the Audi company health insurance fund, today Audi BKK for short, merged with the BKK FTE. The number of insured rose by around 100,000 to 359,000. As a result, Audi BKK continued to record high increases in insured persons. In 2012, the number of policyholders rose from 452,000 to 515,000 as a result of the merger with BKK MAN and MTU Munich. In 2019, more than 715,000 people are insured with Audi BKK. Around 700 employees look after the insured at 29 locations across Germany.
