Aue is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Gloggnitz in Lower Austria with 272 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020).

The village formerly known as Au or In der Au is located between Gloggnitz and Schottwien and is traversed by Auebach . The place is remarkable because of the former mining of iron ore and the associated smelters and hammers.
