August Wiebker

August Wilhelm Wiebker (born February 7, 1804 in Jarmen ; † March 26, 1849 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German lawyer and member of the Frankfurt National Assembly .

Wiebker was born in Jarmen in 1804 as the son of a merchant. He studied law at the University of Greifswald , the University of Berlin and the University of Heidelberg . After completing his studies, he worked as a judicial officer in Ückermünde from 1832 , as a district judge from 1842 and from 1844 as district court director.

He was elected to the National Assembly for the 12th constituency of the province of Pomerania ( Anklam ), to which he belonged from May 18, 1848 until his death on March 26, 1849. Wiebker did not belong to any parliamentary group, but voted with the right center. August Wiebker died of heart failure during the 182nd session of the National Assembly in the plenary hall. He did not appear as a speaker and did not participate in any committees.
