August von der Wense
August von der Wense (born September 25, 1854 in Verden an der Aller , † June 9, 1930 in Bad Kissingen ) was the owner of the manor and member of the German Reichstag .

His parents were the councilor Adolf von der Wense (born January 22, 1824 - † May 7, 1883) and his wife Mathilde Eleonore Julie Amalie von Rhöden (* October 26, 1835 - † September 27, 1907).
Life
Wense attended the grammar school in Verden and then the secondary school in Lüneburg . In 1873 he joined the Royal Saxon 2nd Jäger Battalion No. 13 as an avantageur, attended the war school in Potsdam in 1874 , became an officer in 1875 and was last battalion commander in the Royal Saxon 11th Infantry Regiment No. 139. In 1900 he left the To take over the management of his manor Holdenstedt in the Uelzen district. He made extensive trips abroad: in 1874 to Italy, 1878 to Hungary, Transylvania, 1883 to France, 1884 Danube countries, Turkey, Greece, 1893 Norway and Sweden, 1898 Egypt, Syria, Asia Minor, Turkey, 1904 North Africa and Sicily. Since 1902 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the Uelzen district, belonging to the free conservative parliamentary group.
From 1907 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Province of Hanover 15 Lüchow , Uelzen , Dannenberg , Bleckede and the German Reich Party .
He was awarded the Royal Saxon Order of Merit Knight's Cross 1st Class , the Royal Saxon Order of Albrecht Knight's Cross 1st Class , the Royal Saxon Service Award Cross , the Princely Reussian Cross of Honor 2nd Class and the Ducal Saxony-Ernestine Knight's Cross 1st Class .

Von der Wense married Freiin Elisabeth Karoline Ida Georgine Albertine von Fritsch on June 1, 1887 (* July 15, 1864). The couple had several children:
