Augustin Pacher

Augustin Pacher (also August Pacher ; born January 2, 1863 in Munich ; † March 27, 1926 there ) was a German art and glass painter .

Life

Augustin Pacher, the son of the royal choir director Aloys Pacher, attended the Royal School of Applied Arts in Munich from 1879 to 1884 . From 1884 to 1892 he was employed in the court glass painting of Franz Xaver Zettler as a designer. From 1893 to 1896 he attended the private school of the painter Friedrich Fehr . Subsequently, he mainly designed templates for glass windows for Joseph Peter Bockhorni's court glass painting . He also created templates for paraments and goldsmith's art , for book illustrations and drafts for emergency notes after the inflationary period .
