Auquainville ( pronunciation ^{? / I} ) is a former French community with 311 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013), the Auquainvillais , in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy .

On January 1, 2016, Auquainville was incorporated into the new municipality of Livarot-Pays-d'Auge as part of a regional reform together with 21 neighboring municipalities .

geography

Auquainville is located in the middle of the Pays d'Auge . Lisieux is around ten kilometers north of the village . The Touques flows through Auquainville from the north.
