The Aurelia is a river cruise ship built in 2006/07 by Scylla AG in Basel, which is used in the time charter by the Bonn river tour operator Phoenix Reisen on the Danube , Rhine , Main and Moselle . She is a sister ship of the Bulgarian Rousse Prestige and the Swiss Sound of Music .

history

The ship was built at the Merwede Shipyard in Hardinxveld (NL) under construction number 711. The expansion took place at Vahali in Gendt . On April 2, 2007 the ship was christened in Cologne . The godmother was Natalie Prinz - the daughter of a cruise director at Phoenix Reisen .

The Aurelia is a four-deck cabin ship of the 4-star category with 76 double cabins, one three-bed and one four-bed cabin. The cabins are air-conditioned and each equipped with a shower and toilet, TV, telephone and safe. The cabins on the upper deck have a French balcony . The cabins for the 43-person crew are located in the middle area of ​​the lower deck. The galley has been set up below the restaurant on the upper deck aft. The main deck was lowered bow and aft. The engine rooms are located aft in the lower deck and in the main deck. On the bow side of the upper deck is the all-round glazed panorama salon with bar area and library.
