Australian Open 2015 (Squash)

The 2015 Australian Open took place from August 3rd to 9th, 2015 in Melbourne , Australia . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2015/16 and belonged to the International 25 category . The women's tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2015/16 and belonged to the Silver 25 category . The total prize money was $ 28,750 each.

Defending champion in the men's race was Ramy Ashour , who won the tournament in the last edition in 2012 .

The field of participants in the men's and women's competition consisted of 32 players each, eight of which were for qualifiers for the men and nine for the women. The eight best male players and the 16 best female players were seeded. A wildcard was only given to Joshua Larkin in Herrenfeld .
