After the restructuring of the Austrian Football League 2010, specifically with an increase to a league with eight teams, the participants of the Silver Bowl last season , i.e. the Salzburg Bulls and the Generali Invaders and the Cineplexx Blue Devils from the AFL , were relegated . The ASKÖ Steelsharks rose from Division One in 2009 after losing relegation against the Lower Austria Titans and the same winners rose.
