Avrilly is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Chambois with 424 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Eure in the region of Normandy .
With effect from January 1, 2016, the former municipalities of Corneuil , Thomer-la-Sôgne and Avrilly were merged into a commune nouvelle with the name Chambois. The administrative headquarters are in Avrilly. The municipality of Avrilly belonged to the arrondissement Évreux , the canton Verneuil-sur-Avre (until 2015: canton Damville ) and the local authority Normandie Sud Eure .
Avrilly is about nine kilometers south of the city center of Évreux .
