Aylin Kösetürk

Aylin Kösetürk (born August 5, 1993 in Vienna ) is an Austrian model of Turkish descent. She became known as the winner of the second season of the casting show Austria's Next Top Model on the Austrian private television broadcaster Puls 4 . The final of the talent show aired on February 4, 2010.

Life

Aylin Kösetürk was born in Vienna as the daughter of a hairdresser from Turkey and an interpreter. She grew up in Vienna and began an apprenticeship as a hotel and catering assistant.

Aylin Kösetürk took part in the casting show Austria's Next Top Model , which was broadcast weekly on the television channel Puls 4 from November 25, 2009 . As a photo model, she won the job as a testimonial for an advertising campaign for the Lower Austrian mineral water bottler Vöslauer . Kösetürk moved into the final as one of four candidates, in which she emerged as the winner on February 4, 2010. As the winner, Kösetürk was featured on the cover of the Austrian women's magazine woman . She was allowed to run as a mannequin for Jean-Charles de Castelbajac at Paris Fashion Week and participate in a campaign by the German fashion designer Philipp Plein as well as advertise for the sporting goods retailer Hervis as a testimonial for the Brunotti brand .

After the show ended, she went to high school and worked as a waitress in a Viennese wine bar.

In spring 2013, Aylin Kösetürk advertised Jones women's fashion together with Nina Proll , Bettina Assinger and Doris Rose.

Aylin Kösetürk is under contract with the model agency Wiener Models .

Model criticism

The jury of the casting show Austria's Next Topmodel criticized Kösetürk for being small for an international modeling career. Her height was originally given as 172 cm. Kösetürk is said to have grown since summer 2009, so that it measures 174 cm in February 2010. On the other hand, the jury praised Kösetürk's striking appearance and its high recognition value .
