Geographical location
Bánokszentgyörgy is about 14 kilometers northeast of the city of Letenye . Neighboring communities are Várfölde, Oltárc, Borsfa and Szentliszló .
history
The place was mentioned as Scentgurgy as early as the 14th century , from 1675 it was named Bánok Szent György .
