Iron building
An iron building or iron house are colloquially referred to as buildings whose floor plan is reminiscent of the shape of an iron . It is roughly triangular , but usually trapezoidal , with the front parallel side being very short, while the non-parallel sides are usually longer than both parallel sides.
This ground plan geometry usually arises when two streets converge at an acute angle and the corner property is built on in the inner corner of the streets.
