Büyükyurt (Kurd. Hakis ) is a village in the Nazımiye district of the Turkish province of Tunceli . Büyükyurt is about 10 km north of the district town of Nazımiye. The previous name of Büyükyurt is Hakis.
For Bucak Büyükyurt includes the following villages: Dereova , Ayranlı , Beytaşı , Büyükyurt, Doğancık , Doğantaş , Dokuzkaya , Eğribelen , Oğullar , Ramazanköy , Sarıyayla , Yayıkağıl and Yaylacık are not all occupied.
In 1994 two villages in the Bucak Büyükyurt were evacuated in the course of the fighting with the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and then burned down. In 2011 60 people lived in Büyükyurt again. The village and the surrounding area were the scene of clashes between the PKK and the security forces in the first decade of the 21st century.
