Sarıyayla (Kurd. Civarik ) is a village in the Nazımiye district of the Turkish province of Tunceli . Sarıyayla is located about 21 km northeast of the district town of Nazımiye at 1,860 m above sea level.
Civarik is the original place name. The name was changed to Sarıyayla ("yellow summer pasture") after 1960. Sarıyayla is a traditional settlement area of the Aşiret of the Xormek, a sedentary Alevi tribe.
Sarıyayla belongs to the Bucak Büyükyurt . In 1985 there were 349 people living in Sarıyayla. In 2009, 18 people remained there. The hamlets of Balik, Gemik and Melkiş belong to the village.
The village of Civarik was badly affected during the Dersim uprising .
The immediate vicinity of Sarıyayla is the scene of clashes between the PKK and the security forces. On May 1, 2010, guerrillas attacked the gendarmerie barracks there and killed several soldiers.
