history
The BKK WF was set up on October 1, 1999 as the company health insurance fund of KPMG by KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft . Since 2006 the full official name is BKK Wirtschaft & Finances - The BKK of the auditing and consulting professions . It is open to everyone who lives or works in the federal states of Baden-Württemberg , Bavaria , Berlin , Brandenburg , Bremen , Hamburg , Hesse , Lower Saxony , North Rhine-Westphalia , Rhineland-Palatinate , Saarland and Saxony .
Contribution rates
Since January 1, 2009 the contribution rates have been standardized by the legislator. From January 1, 2019, the BKK will levy an income-related additional contribution of 1.39 percent of the contributory income.
