The steam locomotive series kkStB 94 was a tank locomotive series of the kk state railways of Austria , which was procured for various local railways. The 94.01–05 and 94.11–12 belonged to the Austrian Local Railway Company (ÖLEG), the 94.31–36 and 94.51–53 to the Bukowinaer Lokalbahnen (BLB), the 94.41–43 to the kkStB itself, and the 94.61–65 to the Mühlkreisbahn .

Most were redrawn in 1905 , only the 94.31-36 and the 94.51-53 kept their series number.

The locomotives of this series were delivered by Krauss & Comp in Linz from 1886 to 1899 . They were designed for economic traffic on local railways. They are likely to have proven themselves to some extent, as they were procured in relatively large numbers. Some of the machines were later given larger cylinders (see table).

After 1918 the majority of the machines were assigned to the CFR , which gave them no serial number of their own. The 94.52 came to the BBÖ as the only one in its series . It was also taken over by the Deutsche Reichsbahn in 1938 , but not redrawn, but withdrawn in 1940 .
