The BSV Pfullingen (officially: Billard-Sport-Verein Pfullingen 1997 eV ) is a 1997 founded billiard club from Pfullingen .

history

The BSV Pfullingen was founded in 1997. After the club had finished second in the 2nd Bundesliga behind BSV Dachau in the 2003/04 season , it rose to first place in the 1st Bundesliga in 2005 . There they came in third place in 2006 and 2007 . Subsequently, however, the first team was deregistered from the Bundesliga due to financial difficulties and took over the starting position of the second team. This was in the same year as the first place in the association league in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg-South. In the league was the BSV Pfullingen fifth in the 2007/08 season and rose a year later as seventh, due to a league reform, down to the national league. There the club was promoted to the Association League in 2010. After the sixth place was occupied there, the first team was canceled again and the BSV Pfullingen then played for two years in the district league A. After being promoted to the district league in 2013, they rose to first place in the state league in 2014 and in the association league in 2015 . In the 2015/16 season, however, he was relegated to the national league with eighth place.

Jörn Kaplan and Andreas Roschkowsky were German singles champions in 2006 and 2007 as players of BSV Pfullingen .

Magic Pool Open

Since 2014, the BSV Pfullingen organized annually from the Magic Pool Open, a 10-ball - snooker tournament as part of the German tour . The most successful player is the Czech Roman Hybler , who won the tournament twice.
