action

Madan comes from a poor family. Since he cannot find a job, he is forced to earn his living as a casino player. So he visits the “Star Hotel”, a mysterious place, in order to be able to use the money won to pay for his sick sister's medication.

His sister is treated by the doctor Rajani, who is in love with Madan, as well as he with her. But Madan is not the only one, because the police officer Ramesh also took her to his heart. In addition, the dancer Meena is in love with Madan.

When Madan decides to get out of the criminal scene, his boss throws him a spanner in the works and wants to kill Madan. Meena stands between the two, gets the shot off and dies.

Ramesh accuses Madan of being Meena's murderer because his fingerprints are on the gun. Therefore, he is arrested and sentenced to death.

But Ramesh has his doubts and actually finds the real culprit. It is the owner of the "Star Hotel", as well as Rajani's father, who had never thought of Madan and would have preferred a son-in-law like Ramesh.
