Babinek ( German  Heinrichsdorf ) is a place in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . He belongs to the Gmina Banie (rural community Bahn) in Powiat Gryfino (Greifenhagener district) . In 2003 456 people lived here.

history

The place first belonged to the Knights Templar and was probably founded by them. The oldest record is from 1303. In 1393 it passed into the possession of the von Rehberg family and then other owners.

Until 1945, the rural community Heinrichsdorf belonged to the district of Greifenhagen in the Prussian province of Pomerania . In addition to Heinrichsdorf, the community also included Neu Schulzendorf , Schulzendorf , Vorwerk Karlshof and Ziegelei .

The place has belonged to Poland since 1945.
