The Gmina Banie ( German Landgemeinde Bahn ) is a rural municipality in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . She belongs to the Powiat Gryfiński (Greifenhagener Kreis) . The administrative headquarters are in Banie (Bahn ). The municipality covers about 200 km², the municipality has about 6400 inhabitants.

The Gmina Banie is located at the intersection of the voivodship roads 121 (( Gryfino ( Greifenhagen ) - Rów ( Rufen )) - Myślibórz ( Soldin ), section of the former German Reichsstraße 113 from Linken to Grünberg in Silesia (today: Zielona Góra)), and 122 ( Krajnik Dolny ( Nieder Kränig ) - Pyrzyze ( Pyritz ) - Piasecznik ( Petznick ) - Suchań ( Zachan ), section of the former German Reichsstrasse 158 from Berlin to Lauenburg in Pomerania (Lębork)).
Since 1895 there was a rail connection to the Chwarstnica ( Klein Schönfeld ) - Swobnica ( Wildenbruch ) line of the Greifenhagener Bahnen , but traffic on this route has been suspended by the Polish State Railways since 1991 and 2007 respectively.
