The Bachemer Bach is an orographic right tributary of the Ahr in Rhineland-Palatinate ( Germany ) about seven kilometers long .

The Bachemer Bach rises in the Ramersbacher Wald northeast of the Ramersbach district of the city of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler at an altitude of approx. 397 m above sea level. NHN . From here the stream flows north along the L 84 state road , swings with it to the east and then back to the north. Upon reaching the district of Bachem , the L 84 swings west, but the stream continues its course to the north. It flows in Bad Neuenahr to about 96 m height in the coming there from the West Rhine influx Ahr .
On its seven-kilometer path, the stream overcomes a difference in altitude of 301 meters, which corresponds to a mean bed gradient of 43 ‰.
Catchment area
The 8.3 km² catchment area lies in the Eifel and is drained via the Ahr and Rhine to the North Sea.
It borders
- in the east to that of the Idienbach , which flows into the Ahr
- in the southeast to that of the Vinxtbach tributary to the Rhine
- in the south to the Staffeler Bach of the Ahr tributary
- and in the west to that of the Wingsbach , also a tributary of the Ahr.
The catchment area is largely forested, only on the lower reaches it is characterized by agricultural areas and settlements.
