Birgit Fahrt (born July 1, 1960 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a former German track cyclist .

In 1983 and 1987, Birgit straight became German runner-up in the sprint . In 1984 she won the championship title.

Today Birgit Fahrt, married Zurhausen, runs a sports management company in Gladbeck , which among other things also organizes bike races, as well as a typing office. (Status 2014) A six-day race planned by your event company , which was supposed to take place in a large pink tent in Herne in 2011 , did not take place due to differences with the local city administration.
