Dana Glöß

Dana Glöß (born December 14, 1982 in Werdau ) is a former German track cyclist .

Dana Glöß began her sporting career as a speed skater before turning to track cycling in 2003. After only two months of training, she immediately came second at the Deutsche Bahn Championships in Keirin . In 2004, Dana Glöß became German champion for the first time in the 500 m time trial . In 2005 she was able to repeat this success and also win the sprint title. In 2007 she was again German sprint champion.

At the UCI Track World Championships in Manchester in 2008 , Dana Glöß was third in the team sprint , together with Miriam Welte . She also started successfully in World Cup races .

Dana Glöß lived in Berlin and drove for the "RSV Werner Otto"; her trainer was Emanuel Raasch . She studied sports science.
