The Bade is a left tributary of the Oste in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district in Lower Saxony .
It has its source in the Stellingsmoor between Steinfeld and Wehldorf . From there, it crosses the Königsmoor and crosses under the L 132 southwest of Brümmerhof . Then it flows north past the nature reserves Hemelsmoor and Bullensee and south and west past the Steinalkenheide burial mound . It crosses under the L 133 in Badenstedt , flows through Bathühlen and flows into the Oste southeast of Godenstedt , a district of Seedorf ( Selsingen municipality ). This in turn flows into the Lower Elbe .
