The Hemelsmoor is a nature reserve in the small town of Zeven in Lower Saxony in the joint municipality of Zeven and the municipality of Bülstedt in the joint municipality of Tarmstedt in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district .
The nature reserve with the sign NSG LÜ 108 is 270 hectares in size. Most of it is part of the FFH area “Bullensee, Hemelsmoor”. It is bordered to the west by the conservation area "Upper Wörpe" and the east by the natural preserve "Stelling Moor with Hemel bog meadows and stone fields wood". To the west of the reserve is the “ Bullensee ” nature reserve . The area has been a nature reserve since April 2, 1985. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the Rotenburg (Wümme) district.
The nature reserve is located southwest of Zeven. It is limited to the north and west by state road 132. The reserve provides a true dehydrated, but largely not yet were dug bog complex under protection by water retention and rewetting to be rehabilitated. Hand peat stitches can be found in the edge areas. In a large part of the protected area, areas are used as grassland .
The area is primarily drained to the Bade, a tributary of the Oste , but also to the Wörpe , a tributary of the Wümme .
