The Spreckenser Moor is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony city ​​of Bremervörde in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG LÜ 340 is around 64  hectares . It is almost identical to the 63.35 hectare FFH area of ​​the same name . The area has been under nature protection since January 1, 2019. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the Rotenburg (Wümme) district.

The nature reserve is located southwest of Bremervörde. It puts a high moor on the edge of a moorland under protection. The moor is drained and partly cultivated . Large areas are taken up by bog forests . The dominant tree species are bog birch and silver birch and Scots pine . Sedge lands also settle . Small areas of bog heather with rosemary and bell heather can be found. A partial area in the northeast is occupied by grasslands . To the south, mainly intensively used grassland areas on sandy soils of the Geest adjoin the moor forests.

The area is a habitat and retreat area for various endangered animal and plant species. So settle here u. a. Gagel , cranberry , round-leaved sundew , white schnabelried , brook avens , marsh marigold and field ziest . Live in the protected area a. various butterflies , including the red list species high bog blue and the great meadow bird .

The area is largely surrounded by agricultural land . In the central area of ​​the protected area, an area of ​​around three hectares, used as arable land , protrudes into the wooded areas. One of the protection objectives is to convert the arable land into grassland. A ditch runs through the area . The area drains to the Fahrendorfer Canal , which flows into the Oste east of the Bremen district of Spreckens . Parts of the area can be experienced from paths.
