The Fahrendorfer Canal or Fahrendahl-Fahrendorfer Canal is a left tributary of the Oste in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district in Lower Saxony , Germany . Its origin lies in the northeastern local area of Brillit in Gnarrenburg .

The Fahrendorfer Canal arises from a lake in the northeastern area of ​​Brillit in Gnarrenburg. The canal has a gently meandering line, runs next to Brillit through the towns of Fahrendorf , Basdahl and Spreckens , where it finally flows into the Oste.

Except for the K102 in Spreckens, the Fahrendorfer Canal does not meet any major traffic routes, but mostly runs through moor, meadow and smaller forest areas.

The bank of the canal is not paved, so there is strong vegetation in the canal and bank area. In the section of the canal in Fahrendorf, the vegetation consists primarily of hedgehog cob , arrowhead , pondweed , waterweed and water star as well as duckweed . Water quality
