Beverner Wald is the name of a nature reserve in the forest area of the same name in the Lower Saxony city ​​of Bremervörde in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG LÜ 273 is around 196  hectares in size. Most of the nature reserve is part of the FFH area "Oste with tributaries". The area has been a nature reserve since April 5, 2007. It was initially around 121 hectares. On December 1, 2017, it was expanded to the west to its current size. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the Rotenburg (Wümme) district.

The nature reserve is located east of the Bremervörs district Bevern and in the south of the Bevern Forest. It is crossed by numerous brooks, the sources of which are in the forest. The forest area is predominantly characterized by deciduous and mixed forests, including mixed oak forests and mixed oak and hornbeam forests . In the source areas of the streams there are stocks of alder and ash trees as well as alder and hornbeam forests along the streams.

The western area of ​​the nature reserve is predominantly characterized by near-natural oak and beech forests . Here z. B. Greenish forest hyacinth and marsh marigold . In the oak and beech forests there are several small bodies of water that are the habitat of crested newts , newts , mountain newts and other amphibians . The nature reserve is the habitat of several bat species , including the great mouse- eared bat and Bechstein's bat .

The forests in the nature reserve have a high proportion of old and dead wood . The nature reserve borders on other areas of the Bevern Forest in the north. To the west, south and east it is mostly bordered by agricultural areas . Several forest paths run through the nature reserve .
