The joint municipality of Tarmstedt is a joint municipality in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district in Lower Saxony . Eight municipalities have come together in it to carry out their administrative business. The administrative seat of the joint municipality is in Tarmstedt .

School and Samtgemeindebücherei Tarmstedt
The library has existed since 1959. As a public library, it was and is housed in one of the schools. It is currently based in the Cooperative Comprehensive School.
