Bathtub to Happiness (international title: Bathtub to Happiness ) is a German short film by the couple Nadine and Norbert Keil from 2009. The film is in German with English subtitles . With the 26-minute 35mm fantasy comedy , the couple was invited to over 40 festivals worldwide.
action
The focus of the plot is a romantic date between Marie Patacheky and her lover. Marie plans to surprise him naked in the bathtub in a romantic setting decorated with candles. Despite her careful and detailed planning and preparation for the evening, completely unpredictable events occur. Her lover does not appear naked in the bathroom and ends up in the bathtub with her, but a certain Victor von Draaken, who was completely unknown to Marie until then. Victor - always broke and the black sheep of his noble family - is in turn the lover of the wife of Marie's lover. The plot develops chaotically. While the two fundamentally different people sit in the tub, magical events pile up: The so-called "Bathtub for Happiness", which shows the two of them the ups and downs of love, makes noises and starts to glow, candles are blown out…. On their turbulent journey through time and space to the darkest and most embarrassing moments of their past, Marie and Victor increasingly expose themselves spiritually to each other and thus find great love.
