Bagher Kazemi (also: M uazzib-ud-Dotvleh ; * 1892 ; † 1976) was a Persian diplomat and politician .

Life

Bagher Kazemi studied at the School of Political Science in Tehran and entered the foreign service in 1911. In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he was initially employed in the Russia Department . He later worked in the government cabinet, where he was Prime Minister in 1921. In 1925 he was accredited in Washington, DC . In 1928 he was sent to Iraq to inspect the Persian consulates. In 1931 he was Minister of Communications. From 1932 to 1933 he was envoy in Baghdad . From 1933 to 1935 he was Foreign Minister and head of the delegation to the League of Nations in Geneva . In 1936 he was Governor General in Azerbaijan . From 1937 to 1940 he was envoy to Afghanistan and Turkey . He was Minister of Health, Minister of Education, Minister of the Interior and Minister of Finance in various government cabinets. He was from April 25, 1945 to June 26, 1945 at the Conference of San Francisco and the General Assembly of the United Nations in London in 1946. From 1945 he was ambassador to Sweden and Scandinavia . Grand Cross of the Swedish Order of Vasa 1934.
