The building is registered as a bank building in the Quedlinburg monument register. It is located southeast of the historic Quedlinburg old town.
Architecture and history
The house was built as a commercial building for the Mitteldeutsche Privatbank around 1910 in the neo-baroque style . The design is reminiscent of baroque Roman city palaces. The building of a covered Mansard - hipped roof . An attic , which is decorated with vase attachments, runs around the roof area . The facade made of natural stone and consisting of five axes on the street side is particularly striking. The entrance is flanked by a monumental column portal. The two pillars are each crowned with a figure.
The property fence is adapted to the design of the building. A modern extension follows on the courtyard side.
Inside there is an Art Nouveau staircase with colored glass windows.
