The Tallinn – Paldiski railway is an Estonian railway line . It has the Russian track width of 1520 mm and is electrified. The route is owned and operated by Elektriraudtee .
history
The line was opened in 1870. It was originally part of the railway network of the Baltic Railway from Paldiski to Saint Petersburg .
The route was electrified as follows:
- 1924 Tallina – Pääsküla (11.2 km)
- 1958 Pääsküla – Keila (+15.6 km)
- 1958 Keila – Kloga (+9 km)
- 1961 Kloga – Paldiski (+12.1 km)
