Barbara Kantorová (born March 3, 1992 in Poprad ) is a Slovak ski racer . Your strongest disciplines are slalom and giant slalom .

biography

Kantorová drove her first FIS races in December 2007 , stood on the podium for the first time the next month and celebrated her first victories in February 2010. At Junior World Championships , in which she has been participating since 2010, her best result so far is eighth place in the combined ranking of downhill, giant slalom and slalom at the 2011 Junior World Championships . In the summer of 2010 Kantorová reached third place overall in the Australian New Zealand Cup . She has also been in the European Cup since December 2010 , but has not yet won any points in this racing series. She fared better at her starts in the Nor-Am Cup in November and December 2011, when she was twice among the fastest 15.

Kantorová made her World Cup debut on January 11, 2011 in the Flachau slalom . More regular World Cup starts followed from the 2011/2012 season . In her sixth World Cup race, the slalom of Kranjska Gora on January 22, 2012, she won her first World Cup points in 24th place. In September 2013 she celebrated her greatest international success to date with overall victory in the Australian New Zealand Cup.
