Bartosz Bielenia (* 1992 in Białystok ) is a Polish film and theater actor .
Life
Bartosz Bielenia was born in 1992 in the Polish city of Białystok . He made his stage actor debut in 1999 at the age of seven in the title role of The Little Prince , directed by Tomasz Hynek, at Teatr Dramatyczny Aleksandra Węgierki in Białystok. From 2013 he played at the Bagatela Theater in Kraków, where he made his debut as Hipolit in The Idiot of Dostoyevsky . Since 2014 he has performed at the Stary Theater in Krakow. In 2016 he finished his studies at the Stanisław Wyspiański Academy of Theater Arts in Krakow, which he started in 2011. Since 2018 he has been working at the New Theater in Warsaw. Here he played Pausanias in Feast , a stage adaptation of Plato's Dialogue . This was followed by engagements in The Last by Romuald Krezel in February 2019. In September 2019 he worked again with Jan Klata and played in The Debt at the New Proxima Theater in Krakow and in November in Mother Joanna from the Angels at the New Theater in Warsaw.
Bielenia became known in the film industry for his role in Disco Polo . He made his film debut in musical comedy and played one of two devilish butlers. In 2016 he starred in the thriller Na granicy by Wojciech Kasperski and starred alongside the Polish actors Andrzej Chyra , Marcin Dorociński and Andrzej Grabowski. Bielenia has received several awards for his role of Daniel / Pastor Tomasz in the film Corpus Christi by Jan Komasa , which celebrated at the Venice Film Festival on September 2, 2019 .
Bartosz Bielenia was included in the list of ten European Shooting Stars by the European Film Promotion in January 2020 .
